Imagine those cdg drivers who also clock cdg calls + gt calls

can hit more than 1k liao per mth lol

But this more often not likely because not all hours got call-bookings coming in. Sometimes can go for hours without calls.

Also often, taking calls would make you make less money because some customers would make you wait 10-15 minutes. So it could be 8 minutes to get there and wait another 10 minutes or 18 minutes earning $2 minus fuel money minus rental money. Few days ago, I had 2 taxi trips and found out from two a lot more experienced taxi uncles. They also said they often get this kinds of customers.

To taxi drivers, it is another must pay rental day....so must work to ensure not making a loss that day...... where got so Ho Mia like employees of companies who get paid holidays ? Taxi drivers go negative if don't work. For some, it is lose $100+ per day if don't drive at all.....some even closed to $200 like our "Man in White" OMO brothers who drive new Mercedes.

very true, the high cost, ensure we need to start engine everyday, least help company make the rental before we can close shop, else it eats into our income

Taxi drivers do not work for company but ourselves .... we only rent taxis from company or split the rental cost with the taxi hirer (who is not an employee hirer or a business partner because each one make own profit without sharing ) whom the taxi company directly charge the rental to.

Whether you work or not, the rental would still be charged to you since you are self-employed who agreed to rent the taxi from the taxi company or agreed to share the rental with at least one hirer for a specific number of days per week .... so you would be making a loss if you do not work while the taxi rental company still continues to make. No taxi driver would think about helping company make the rental money but always thinking I lose this much rental money a day if I do not work.

Self-employed people do not think like employees but think like businessmen.

Personally, I do not ensure I start the engine everyday because I also think from the health perspective.

lanjiao lah, 7 months burning got nothing to do with the haze lah, that day 1 PRC lady pax with husband on board asked me if the haze is cause by our 7th month burning…tio limpek fark kao kao until her husband ask her to stop asking.

Like it or not, this is our culture, even the indian and malay acknowledge it, if burning can cause haze…then ching ming that time, chua chu kang and lim chu kang + jurong will be full of haze…then my ex chief live there will be complaining liao.

No fark them kao kao, later my fool kenna warning letter again..how? Sometime I fark pax not mainly for me, but for our taxi drivers community at large, there are cases why some paxs are fark type and look down on TDs, it is mainly because of their culture and attitude they bring from their parent countries.

And if we TD do not tell them off, it become a norm, if one TD bow down for them, they will feel more atas, more howlian and more demand, it takes a driver like me or my bro hammer to tell them off, and it benefit other drivers, because by teaching them a lesson, they then slowly start to respect TD of SIngapore.

Oh, by the way, did u not notice Foreign Indians are now more courteous and friendly to TDs of Singapore? because we all farked them kao kao until they wake up, but still got some not yet wake up
